Regional Wet Weather Characterization Program (RWWCP)
RWWCP is in the fifth year of the program term.
Begun implementation of the Best Management Practices Analysis and Evaluation Plan
(BANEP).
All participants were mailed Letters of Authorization for the fifth and final year of the

TRASH FREE WATERS ENGAGE & EDUCATE TASK
Task 3 - Engage & Educate task of grant includes work on encouraging a cleanup
culture
Formed a short-term Advisory Group to help inform work on task. Held first meeting on
Sept. 9th. Scheduled to meet again on October 21
st

Under this task, project team is connecting with communities and recreational groups on
unique cleanup activities such as plogging or integrating litter cleanups with cycling and
paddling
Outcome is the development of resources and/or toolkits to help local governments connect
with recreational groups and their communities on unique cleanup activities
