ADMISSIONS INFORMATION
Our admissions process is holistic—we review every application closely, looking at
academic, extracurricular, and personal achievements. We also consider what type of
student will be a good t for Northeastern, as our students are intellectually curious,
innovative, and active leaders. Transfer students have two opportunities to apply for
enrollment at Northeastern—spring 2020(January)and fall 2020(September).
TRANSFER CREDIT EVALUATION PROCESS
Transfer credit evaluations are completed ater admission to Northeastern. Faculty
members from each department make evaluations based on the content of the
course and determine if an equivalent is oered at Northeastern. To prepare for your
credit review, follow these steps:
Review the Online Transfer Equivalency Database on the Admissions website
Collect syllabi for courses that do not appear on the database
Submit advanced examination scores (AP, IB, GCE, etc.) and transcript(s) from
dual-enrollment courses
