AUTOMOTIVE MECHATRONICS TECHNICIAN LEVEL 6

The Automotive Mechatronics Technician combines the skills of an Automotive Mechanic and Automotive Electrician.

Programme Overview:

Nairobi Technical Training Institute in cooperation with leading companies in Kenya oers training in Automotive Mechatronics

Level 6. The training course is supported by the German Development Cooperation, the Kenya Association of Manufacturers (KAM) and the German

Delegation of Industry in Kenya (AHK).

Working and learning in this profession is exciting. If you choose this training, you will learn everything about vehicle electrical systems, vehicle

diagnosis using modern scan tools and you will stay well-informed about technical developments in the automotive industry.

The course entails dual training with 50% of the duration at the Institute while the other 50% on site in a company. The course has an option of double

German Chamber of Commerce and Industry in East Africa.

What does a mechatronics technician do?

• Assemble, install, dismantle, maintain and repair motors, coolers and other components.

• Correctly operate and use computer-aided methods for repairs and maintenance.

• Apply modern techniques such as systems analysis and diagnosis.
