STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS: SETTING UP AN ACCOUNT ON INDEED
1. Go to Indeed.com in your web browser or download the LinkedIn mobile app for iOS or Android
.
2. Select Sign In.
3. Click Create an account at the bottom. You can register using your email address, Apple ID, or
your Google or Facebook account. Keep in mind that Indeed may send you a confirmation email or
verification code to confirm your account. If you do not see a confirmation email from Indeed,
please check your junk/spam folder.
4. Once you have confirmed your account, Indeed will ask if you are Looking for a job? or Hiring an
employee?. Select Looking for a job?
5. Select to upload an existing resume or build a new resume within Indeed.
6. Select the underlined fields to fill out your personal info for your profile.
7. Once you’ve created your account, click Find jobs in the top-left to begin your internship search.
8. Click the search box that says What and type “TXWORKS”. In the Where box, enter the city or ZIP
code where you want to work. You can also enter “remote” to search for work from home positions.
Click the Find Jobs to see a list of TXWORKS Internship openings.
NOTE: If an opening says Apply with your Indeed Resume, you can apply to that job from within
Indeed, using the resume saved in your profile. Keep in mind that some jobs don’t use this feature and
will require you to apply on their company’s website.
