Buggy Barn Quilt
Instructor: Connie Berner
Supply List:
Paern by Buggy Barn or One Sister Make sure the paern uses their Crazy stacking method. The paern
should show this. One Sisters paern, “The Mountains are Calling, does not use the crazy method.
Freezer Paper, with any paern pieces traced onto it. Trace on the paper side, not the slick side. The paern
should list how many copies to make. I suggest you bring extra freezer paper to class.
• Rotary Cuer (I suggest a new blade. You will be cung through up to 11 layers of fabric at a me).
• Cung mat. A 12” x 12” rotang mat works well, but you can bring what you have.
• Acrylic rulers: I suggest a 4 ½” x 12 ½ “. If you have an 18” ruler, bring that, too.
Plasc sewing clips. This is important! This will hold the pieces together when you leave class. I’d suggest
bringing about 75 clips.
• A container of some kind to keep your cut fabric in for travel. Maybe a 12” x 12” scrapbook case. A gallon zip
lock bag will even work.
• Sewing Machine, thread, seam ripper, pencil, pins, pincushion, and any other sewing supplies you like to use.
NOTE: There is a lot of ironing and a lot of short seams in this project. If you have a small travel iron and ironing
pad, it will simplify things for you. Ben Franklin also has irons and ironing boards available to use.
• Please read through the paern to see if there are any other supplies listed. If so, bring them.
