All students receiving a bachelor’s degree from July 2022 to June 2023 were
surveyed (total = 401). A web survey was administered beginning in January
2024. Additional data was obtained by locating the graduates’ LinkedIn or
other online profiles and by additional communications with graduates. Data
collection ended in March 2024, with information ultimately found for 285
graduates (71%).
The data highlights that 65% of graduates are employed full-time, performing
volunteer service (Peace Corps, AmeriCorps, etc.), military service, or
pursuing additional education full-time.
One hundred & fifty six Pipers are full-time employees and make up 55% of
respondents. Seventeen graduates, (6%) are pursuing further education.
Employed part-time are 65 graduates or 23% of respondents.
Twenty six individuals (9%) are currently unemployed & seeking
employment. Additionally, 10 graduates (4%) are participating in volunteer
services and 1 Piper is in the Military.

Graduate data gathered from Pipers of the College of Liberal Arts and the
Hamline School of Business indicates that the majority of respondents
attended the College of Liberal Arts (220 students or 77%) with the School of
Business contributing 62 students or 22% of graduates.

One hundred & sixty seven graduates reported salary information. The
highest number of graduates who reported on their income 25% (41
graduates) fall into the $40,001-$50,000 range. The next two highest tiers are
19% (32 graduates) for the $50,001-$60,000 & 16% (27 graduates) between
$30,001-$40,000 ranges. This is followed by 8% in both the $60,001-$70,000
and $20,001-$30,000 tiers while 5% (9 graduates) are $70,000 or above.
There were also 14% (23 graduates) in the $1 -$20,000.

Of those who responded, the majority of graduates, 89 (40%) are employed in
the Private Sector. The next prominent fields employing graduates were
Healthcare organizations with 34 respondents (15%) and 29 graduates (13%)
working in the nonprofit sector. Education organizations employed 27
graduates (12%). Government followed with 15 graduates (7%) while 9
graduates (4%) are self-employed. The remaining 4% (9 graduates) described
themselves as engaging in Other forms of employment or endeavors.
