THE PLANNER STORY
PLANNER — America's foremost coordinated group of contemporary furniture
was designed to satisfy the needs of those who seek superior design in their
homes. PLANNER is accepted as the perfect answer for today's interior, as
shown by the widespread acclaim and honors given to PLANNER and its designer
PAUL McCOBB. Leading
architects,
decorators, magazine editors, model home
builders — all praise PLANNER for its simplicity, its scale and its refined
lines,
and above all for its variety of use in many individualized ways.
PLANNER GROUP'S versatility is achieved through a modular system of basic
storage units. The chests and cabinets are offered with either attached
legs or platform bases, the smaller cases and storage pieces are set on
benches or used in larger multiple unit groupings. Other PLANNER units
such as
dining
tables, occasional tobies, chairs, beds, desks, and an
extensive collection of upholstered seating units make it hard to conceive
of a problem in today's living that cannot be solved with this moderately
priced furniture. It is an "open stock" group constructed of solid selected
maple, available in four distinctive finishes: natural, tobacco, walnut and
black, with coordinated colored door panels, and several styles of hardware.
