Dear Graduates and Parent/Guardians:
Chaska High School has been busy making plans for the Class of 2024’s graduaon ceremony on Friday,
June 7. This yer covers many important items that you need to be aware of to make your graduaon a
day to remember, so please read it carefully and completely and share with your family.
Chaska High School Graduaon for the Class of 2024
Friday, June 7 at 4:00pm
Target Center
600 N 1st Avenue
Minneapolis, Minnesota
All graduates are required to ride the bus from Chaska High School to Target Center. Students may opt
out of riding the bus home. Parents/Guardians/Families will also have the opportunity to take a bus.
More informaon regarding this free transportaon opon is on page 2 of this yer.
Cap, Gown and Tassel pick-up is in the cafeteria during all lunches on Friday, May 3. A cket is required
to pick up your cap and gown. Beginning Monday, May 6, pick-up will be in the main oce. The follow-
ing must be completed to get a cket prior to picking up your cap and gown:
1. Pay the $60 graduaon ceremony parcipaon fee. This fee can be paid in the Main Oce with cash
or check made out to Chaska High School between the hours of 7:00am-3:30pm, Monday-Friday, or
via credit card on parent portal located under student fees. Scholarship informaon to cover this
cost is available in the Main Oce.
2. Pay any outstanding fees or nes. Fee statements were mailed to seniors the week of April 8th and
can also be found in parent portal at any me.
3. Must be on track to graduate.
Oponal - We want to celebrate you and your future plans! If you would like to parcipate in this tradi-
on, please complete a senior quesonnaire located here. The quesonnaire will ask students to provide
post high school plans as well as scholarships they have been awarded. This quesonnaire is completely
voluntary.
Once the three numbered items above have been completed, students will be issued a cket from the
Main Oce which they will use to pickup their cap, gown and tassel. Please refer to reverse side for
more important informaon.

transcript be sent to the school/
program they will be aending aer
graduaon. This includes a transcript
sent to NCAA if parcipang in a
college sport. Go to our website at:

then Transcript Requests.

from the high school. Go to the Main

Parking is available in Ramps A, B,
or C at early bird rates of:
Ramp A: $7.00
Ramp B: $8.00
Ramp C: $9.00
Carpool rate: $5.00

Aendance at Graduaon pracce is
mandatory for all seniors including
early graduates and those who aend
the COOP, IAA and PSEO.
GRADUATION PRACTICE
GRADUATION CEREMONY
The graduaon will be live-streamed
and also posted on our website aer
the ceremony for those who cannot
aend in person. The link will be post-
ed on our website under Student Life,
then Graduaon as we get closer.
To oset the cost of graduaon,
there is a $60 fee incurred to each
student. Scholarships are available.
TICKETS
Tickets are required. Each graduate
will be given 8 ckets when they pick
up their cap and gown. Addional
ckets can be picked up in the main
oce weekdays beginning May 6 be-
tween 7am-3:30pm. There is no
charge for ckets.
DECORATING CAPS
Students are allowed to decorate
their caps. Decoraons must be
school appropriate and meet the stu-
dent handbook dress code guidelines.

charge in the main oce)
TARGET CENTER
KNOW BEFORE YOU GO
Bag policy will be enforced.
Permied items include bags that
are no larger than 5” x 9”, diaper
bags, and medical bags (subject
to search upon entry).
All concessions are cashless.
